Xferdata helps companies turn their internal data into $300K–$5M+ of annual data subscriptions via data auctions —without sharing any sensitive or personal data (no PII, no GDPR) or the company (data owner) name. We start with a low cost valuation that does not require data sharing or phone calls.
As an Xferdata Ambassador, you’ll earn:
A referral fee for each successful company data valuation, and
A larger success fee based on a share of revenue from data monetization deals (i.e data auctions)

What type of intros are helpful? Typically, we’re looking for intros to CEOs, CFOs, Founders, or Investors at companies in:
Software, logistics, fintech, payments, e-commerce, procurement or other ‘data rich’ businesses
Data rich can mean 3+ years of data and data relating to 100+ B2B clients or 1M+ B2C users
The size of company by turnover or employees is secondary to the size of data

Who are Xferdata?
We’re a U.S.-incorporated company founded in 2025 by experienced data professionals based in New York, Boston, Toronto, London and Dublin. We help companies understand the value of their internal data—without requiring that data to be shared for initial valuation —and manage the entire monetization process with vetted global data buyers.
What is my role as an introducer?
Your role is simply to introduce companies that may benefit from understanding the value of their internal data. Once referred, Xferdata handles the rest via a fully self-service platform. No further involvement is required from you.
What do I earn as an introducer?
You receive:
A smaller referral fee when a company you introduce provides a valuation.
Larger success fees (paid quarterly for 12 months) based on the amount of revenue generated through actual data monetization & subscriptions by data buyers. All referrals are recorded, and you're tagged in our system as the introducer. A worked example can be provided to you.
What about compliance, GDPR, and commercial sensitivity?
Xferdata operates with full compliance:
No data sharing is required to receive a data valuation. It is a short assessment, no phone calls and 20 minutes approximately to complete 20 questions.
No PII, no GDPR-sensitive data, no customer names are shared.
All data at auction is anonymized and aggregated.
Introduced companies are never disclosed publicly.
Companies can request that certain buyer companies or buyer types are not marketed to (i.e named competitors, customers or existing segments (e.g ‘exclude marketing agencies’).

How do I know valuations are real?
We have developed an advanced model (“DataVal”) to ensure valuations are fast and low cost. We have used real world inputs and the model is supervised by valuation experts (ex Dun & Bradstreet, LSEG, Orange Telecom, Glaxo Smithkline) with real world experience of buying and selling your data type. There are 10,000 datasets subscribed to every year - we benchmark company data to those annual subscription values.
How long does the process take?
Valuation: 24 to 48 hours after the questionnaire is submitted. No data sharing required for a valuation.
Monetization: ~4 months including data backtesting and compliance processes
How does monetization work?
We’ve developed a proprietary system for auctions:
Multiple buyers can subscribe to the same dataset post a backtesting period
Xferdata manages all buyer interactions and holds distribution rights for ‘backtesting’ data during the auction to ensure it a competitive and protected process.
All buyer types are engaged - Wall Street, corporates, consultants and data re-sellers
Company resources & identity remain protected throughout. Xferdata interacts with the buyers.
